Welcome to the Housing & Successor Agency
The La Habra Redevelopment Agency rehabilitates and revitalizes blighted and deteriorated areas of the City through various methods such as land assembly, infrastructure upgrades and on-site improvements. The Agency selects projects that relate to the mission of the Agency, which is to enhance the commercial and industrial areas of the City, to revitalize those areas, and to increase, improve and preserve the community's supply of affordable low- and moderate-income housing.The La Habra Redevelopment Agency is a separate, legal entity from the City of La Habra, although the La Habra City Council serves as the Redevelopment Agency Board. The Mayor serves as Chair, the City Manager serves as Executive Director, and the City Attorney serves as General Counsel. The Redevelopment Division of the City's Community Development Department acts as Agency staff.

City of La Habra Oversight Board
The Successor Agency of the Former La Habra Redevelopment Agency activities are subject to review and approval by an Oversight Board. The Oversight Board is comprised of seven appointees from affected local taxing entities and the community.
