Tree City USA

La Habra has been named a Tree City USA community for nine consecutive years by the National Arbor Day Foundation.  The Tree City USA program is sponsored by the National Arbor Day Foundation in cooperation with the National Association of State Foresters and the USDA Forest Service.

Parkway Tree Program Improves the City's Landscape

The City of La Habra's Parkway Tree Program provides tree planting and trimming services to La Habra residents.  Only trees that meet the City's urban forest requirements are able to become parkway trees.  For example, palm trees do not meet these requirements and are not allowed to be planted in the City parkways.
