Information Technology

Welcome to the Information Technology Division

Information Technology (I.T.) is a division of the Finance and Administrative Services Department.  Our mission is to provide excellent customer service in supporting all of the information technology needs of the City. 

In addition to providing day-to-day technical support to over 300 domain and email users all within thirteen remote sites throughout the City and one in a neighboring city, I.T. also manages the City’s telecommunications system.  This includes several PBX telephone switches, cellular phones, pagers, and voicemail systems.  

Some of the exciting projects that we are currently working on are Network Virtualization, Network Security Assessments, Documents Archiving, VOIP/TDM PBX Replacement, GIS Design, Disaster Recovery/Business Continunity Planning (DR/BCP) and various business automation processes.
