Recreation Division

Concerts in the Park information
4th of July information


The Recreation Division offers a variety of services that include recreation classes, excursions for adults and youth, special events, summer day camp and summer aquatic program, two youth sports leagues, and facility rentals.   The Recreation Division also manages the use of City parks by individuals, as well as coordinating the joint use of City and school athletic fields with the various school districts in the City, working closely with local non-profit organizations such as Little League, AYSO, and Pop Warner.

2010 La Habra 5K/10K Run/Walk

 Get ready to put on your running or walking shoes for the La Habra 5K/10K Run/Walk!

The 2009 La Habra 5K/10K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, March 28th, and will include a 1k Kiddie Run and 50 yard Tyke Trot. 

Proceeds from this event will benefit local charities that provide programs that serve local youth.

La Habra Teens Study in Comfort and Style

Reading AreaThe Teen VIP Lounge at the La Habra Branch of the Orange County Public Library has been transformed into a welcome and inviting space for teenagers.  It is described as a "cozy area" with sling chairs and floor rockers.  A modern coffee table and bright, sophisticated rug complete the area, and it has become very popular with teenagers each afternoon.  The National Charity League provided support to make the changes.more
