La Habra City Council
The residents of La Habra are represented by a five-member City Council. The members of the City Council are elected on an at-large basis to four-year terms. There are no term limits. Regular City Council elections occur in even years and coincide with the Statewide General Election. Each year, the members of the City Council choose one member to serve as Mayor and one member to serve as Mayor Pro Tem. The Mayor Pro Tem acts in the Mayor's place when absent.
The City Council holds regularly-scheduled meetings on the first and third Monday of each calendar month at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers located at 201 E. La Habra Boulevard. Agendas and minutes for the Council Meetings can be viewed by clicking on the Agendas and Minutes Quick Link on the left side of the City's Main Page. Recorded tapings of the Council Meetings can be viewed on Cable Channel 3 at 6:30 p.m. on the Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Monday following each respective meeting.

The State of the City: Finding Opportunities
The annual State of the City address was presented by Mayor Tom Beamish on Wednesday, March 25th at Westridge Golf Club. Mayor Beamish touched on the City's accomplishments for the past year and highlighted upcoming programs and projects.
