Welcome to the Public Works Department
The Department of Public Works is responsible for developing and maintaining the City’s infrastructure, which encompasses many areas. The Department has seven Divisions which include Administration, Engineering, Fleet Maintenance, Parks and Trees, Refuse, Street Maintenance, and Water/Sewer. The Director of Public Works oversees these Divisions and the Department's 52 employees. The mission of the Public Works Department is to provide outstanding customer service, to ensure that city facilities and equipment are properly maintained, public areas are kept clean, and to provide top quality services for the citizens and visitors of La Habra
