The Chamber in La Habra had it roots in the farming industry back in the early 1900s, when the Farmer's Club was active in promoting the agriculture of La Habra Valley. The Chamber incorporated in 1940 as a non-profit organization and in 1980, found its permanent home through the efforts of local businesses, community leaders and the assistance of the City of La Habra. The Chamber works with the City of La Habra to publish Life in La Habra, the City's quarterly publication, by selling ad space, which helps defray the cost of publishing the magazine. The Chamber's mission is to build a strong local economy.
