The Veterans Day Program
The City of La Habra hosts a Veterans Day program every year at the La Habra Community Center, 101 W. La Habra Blvd. This year's event will take place on Friday, November 11, 2016, with a musical performance by the Swing Dolls at 10:40 a.m., and the formal program at 11:00 a.m.,which will focus on those who served in conflicts that took place between 1976 and 2001. The keynote speaker will be former U.S. Ambassador and Peace Corps Director Gaddi Vasquez. All are welcome to attend. For more information about the Veterans Day program, please call 562-383-4205.
Veterans Day Event Committee
The La Habra Veterans Committee, co-organized by American Legion Post 267, La Habra, was established in 1998 and is committed to recognizing those who are currently serving and those who have served in the military by managing and conducting programs designed to honor them. Photos can be from the past or present. Please include your contact information if you would like the photo returned to you; photos will be returned by mail.
