Holding a Party at a City Park
Private parties are permitted at Community parks.  The City does not take reservations, with the exception of Brio and Portola Parks; park usage is first come, first served.  If you are going to have a bounce house/jumper/inflatable at your party, you must apply for a permit to do so.  To apply for a permit, visit the Community Center and fill out a "Request to Use a Public Facility" form.  Once you have completed the form, you must have the company from which you are renting your jumper/bounce house/inflatable provide us with a copy of their liability insurance, naming the City of La Habra as additionally insured for $1 million.  Once we receive this form, we attach it to your Request form and notify you that your permit is ready to pick up.  You MUST have the permit form with you at the park on the day of the event.  There is no charge for the permit.  Please note the following: The City does not provide electricity to run your bounce house/jumper/inflatable.  The company from whom you rent it provides a generator that powers it.

The City does NOT permit the following:
  • bounce house/jumper/inflatable that includes a water feature
  • petting zoos
  • pony rides
  • trains
  • laser tag set-ups

For more information, please contact the Community Center at 562-383-4200.
